# Paid modules — Atom Apps

Buyers pay you via Stripe Connect. Atom Apps takes **15%** application fee on each successful paid Checkout.

## Economics

- You set the price in the console (GBP).
- Minimum paid price: £0.50.
- You are merchant of record (Stripe Connect).
- Atom Apps: 15% `application_fee_amount` on Checkout.
- Stripe card processing fees are separate.

## 1. Onboard to collect payments

1. Sign in: https://atom.apps.qwixl.com/developer/
2. Payments → **Onboard to collect payments** (Stripe Connect).
3. Complete Stripe until payments are ready.

You cannot publish a paid module until payments are ready. Email must be verified.

## 2. Publish with a price

Set pricing to Paid, enter GBP amount (≥ £0.50). Store creates Product/Price on your connected account.

## 3. What buyers experience

1. Open listing → checkout.
2. Stripe Checkout charges your connected account (15% store fee).
3. Store issues Ed25519 entitlement certificate for their shell.
4. After install, module works offline; renewal is periodic when online.

## Do not confuse with open-registry pricing

Open Atom docs may show USD + `purchaseUrl`. Atom Apps commercial path is **GBP + Connect**, not a custom purchaseUrl.

## Tips

- Price for the outcome.
- Optional free/demo module for discovery.
- Refund tooling later; store policy when refunds exist: keep application fee.
