Paid modules
Charge for your work. Buyers pay you directly. Atom Apps takes 15% on each successful paid sale.
Economics
- You set the price in cents when you publish
- You are the merchant of record (Stripe Connect)
- Atom Apps applies a 15% application fee on Checkout
- Stripe’s own processing fees apply as usual
1. Onboard to collect payments
- Sign in to the developer console
- Choose Onboard to collect payments (Stripe Connect)
- Complete Stripe’s form until payments show as ready
You cannot publish a paid module until payments are ready.
2. Publish with a price
In the console, set pricing to paid and enter the price in cents
(example: 500 = £5.00 or $5.00 depending on your Stripe currency).
Atom Apps creates the product and price on your connected account.
3. What buyers experience
- They open your listing and start checkout
- Stripe Checkout charges on your connected account (with the 15% store fee)
- On success, Atom Apps issues an entitlement certificate for their shell
- After install, the module works offline; renewal is periodic when online
Tips
- Price for the outcome you deliver — clear titles convert better than clever ones
- Keep a free tier or demo module if you want discovery first
- Refund tooling ships later; when refunds are issued, store policy is to keep the application fee
